Roland Tai Yin LEUNG

Roland has been a corporate marketing research consultant for over 25 years before turning into co-founder & CEO of an award-winning tech company. He had assumed regional leadership roles in international marketing research consultancies prior to his entrepreneurial journey in 2018. But one skill that has helped him develop his entire career is his ability to communicate in different business contexts.
As both a research consultant and an entrepreneur, Roland needs to pitch business proposals, form strategic partnerships, achieve sales targets, connect with overseas markets and compete in startup competitions, all of which require excellent communication and public speaking skills. Together with his co-founder, Edwin, Roland has won over 20 startup funds and awards locally and regionally.
Roland graduated from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne Australia with Bachelor of Business (Marketing) degree and holds a Master of Quantitative Business Analysis degree from City University of Hong Kong. As an avid learner in technology, Roland has completed certificate programs in digital marketing, cloud computing, blockchain technologies as well as applications in generative AI.

Howard Pong Yuen LAM

Howard Pong Yuen Lam, PhD, is the author of several books, a number of business cases and peer-reviewed articles. He has 25 years of experience in marketing and general
management at multinational companies
including P&G, McDonald’s, and Coca-Cola.
From 2020 to 2023, he served as the EMBA
Programme Director and Associate Professor of Practice in Marketing at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. His research has been published in impactful journal such as the Journal of Marketing. He has also conducted case research, with 15 business cases published by the Ivey Case Centre and listed by Harvard Business Impact. Some of the published cases have received case awards.
Throughout his career and academic roles, he has communicated and presented in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese. Dr. Lam earned his PhD in Marketing, MBA, and BSc in Computer Science from CUHK, and holds an MSc in Financial Management from the University of London. In 2024-25, he completed several online courses from Stanford University, including Natural Language Processing, the Machine Learning Specialization, and Business Opportunities and Applications of Generative AI.
